Increase Clarity

Where are we and where are we headed?

Develop Strategy

How are we going to get there?

Improve Efficiency

What's are the tools and systems we need along the way?

Would you let someone teach your child to swim if they've never entered a pool?

Then stop receiving guidance from accounting firms who have never led a ministry. You deserve the guidance and support from people who really understand your mission and will help you move it forward. Our team of former executive pastors, financial directors, and church accountants provide best-in-class support, unmatched by any CPA firm or local accountant in the country.

Our process is simple

Treating your church as if it's our own congregation is one of the ways we're different. We'd never want someone to collect payment from us before we've even talked. How would we know if we are the best fit? How do we know if we can create a real return on the investment you make in us without knowing what's currently being done?

That's why we start with a conversation, not a credit card. That's how business should be done. That's real stewardship.

Once we understand your objectives and the challenges you and your church face, we begin execution with three key areas in mind:

  1. Clarity
  2. Strategy
  3. Efficiency

We establish benchmarks, key performance indicators (KPI's), and work with you to establish and maintain the financial health and stewardship your church deserves.

Since the day you first started envisioning the impact you'd make, it's what's kept you going when things get hard. It's time to see those become a reality by getting time (and financial resources) back so you can focus more on ministry.

"Jeff and his team operate like true partners, making you feel as though they are in the trenches with you."

Nick Crawford
Executive Pastor, Fondren Church

Why we got started.

I served as an elder and then as an executive pastor for a number of years. I quickly learned that I couldn't do it all. I needed people in their respected fields that I could trust; however, I quickly found most service-based companies, including accountants and CFOs, just forced churches into their mold without ever considering our unique needs or a different approach.

That's why we started Church Central Office: to give executive pastors end-to-end church accounting and guidance from someone who's been there. We want to strengthen you financial position, while giving you one less thing to worry about. Let's schedule a call and help you get back to focusing on ministry.

Frequently Asked Questions

First, we want to make sure we're a great fit for you and can give you the best ROI (return on investment) possible. If we can't, we'll tell you! We think it's the way all business should be done (not just churches).

We also have a conversation because we want to ensure we offer our clients the support they deserve by keeping our firm small and personal. To ensure we do that, we only take on churches who are financially healthy or are committed to moving in that direction.

Absolutely not! As you can imagine, every church is as unique as the people it engages and ministers to as well as the leadership structure of the church. Because of that, our "voice" (ie. role) varies from church to church but ultimately, we want to see your mission moving forward. We're here to provide you the support and the guidance you need to make that happen in whatever way works best for you.

You can hire a local accounting firm to do financial activities. We just believe that you'll simply get compliance - the minimum necessary to keep you at the status quo. Just don't have any expectations for moving beyond where you are today financially.

That being said, we know that your church can benefit from a firm that uses former peers in your field that have the financial training and expertise to move your mission forward. We know because we see it time and time again.

It's like we tell people all the time -  If you were going to teach your child to swim, you wouldn't hire a swim instructor who had never been in the water, would you? Of course not. It's one thing to see it from the pool deck and have a basic idea of what it looks like to be an effective swimmer. It's a completely different ballgame to expose yourself to the water, know what it feels like to be submersed in it, and have experienced what it's like to overcome the downward pull. The guidance and support you give changes with your experience and your perspective. We taken organizations through 200% growth year-over-year and we've walked through periods of zero net growth. Your strategies, mindset, and guidance changes depending on what you've experienced.

Don't accept status quo from someone who has never done what you're trying to do. Let us help get you where you want to be.

No problem at all. Feel free to email us here and we'll get back to you within the day.
